1- Skinless, Boneless, Salmon fillet, cubed, 450g
2- 1/2 onion, peeled, diced
3- Medium tomato, cut into pieces, 200g
4- Bell pepper, cored, cut into pieces, 1 medium
5- All purpose flour, 4 tbsp
6- Sesame seeds, 1 tbsp, for decoration
1- 1 tsp of black pepper flake
2- 1/2 tsp of salt
.: 汁料 Sauce mixture :.
1- Sweet Soy Sauce, 3 tbsp
2- Ketchup 3 tbsp
3- Hot water, 4 tbsp
4- Sugar, 2 tbsp
.: 做法 Directions :.
Marinade the salmon with Group B ingredient for 15 minutes. Coat both side of the salmon with flour. Heat the pan with 1 tbsp of oil over medium-high heat. Pan-fry the fish until all sides are light brown. Turn the heat to medium. Continue pan-fry the fish until golden. Dish it up and put it aside
(.: Note: Remove the exceed flour from the salmon. When pan-frying the fish, do not turn the fish before unless it turns brown on one side)
Remove the oil from the pan but keep 1 tsp. Add in the onion with 1/3 tsp of salt. Stir-fry it until soft. Add in the bell pepper and tomato with 1/3 tsp of sugar. Stir-fry all ingredients for 2 more minutes or until the tomato is soft. Put it aside and drain it well.
(.: Note: Discard the tomato juices release from the tomato after cooked)
Dry the pan with paper towel. Add in the sauce mixtures and bring it to boil over medium heat. Once the sauce is thickened, add in all the cooked ingredient and mix it well. Dish it up and top with sesame seed. Serve it hot.
(.: Note: Be aware not to cook the sauce mixture over high heat because the water will evaporate too fast. As a result, it will over thicken the sauce mixture. Adjust the sauce mixture before adding back the cooked ingredients)
