[Tony's Creation]Pan-fried salmon cubes with baked bean

Baked bean is a common ingredient that everyone can find easily in supermarket.  Compare to other cane food, it is actually qualified as health food.  I usually will stock 2-3 cane at home.

However, I don't like just eat the baked bean alone.  I find it is a bit too boring to eat it alone.  Like this time, I use it combine with salmon cubes.  The outcome is very good.  It is a super easy recipe.  I hope you will like it.

 

.: Ingredients :.

Group A
1- 400g of Salmon fillet, cut into small cubes
2- 1/2 onion, peeled, diced
3- Half of red and green bell pepper, core removed, diced
4- 1 tbsp of minced garlic
5- 3 tbsp of flour or corn starch
6- 1 tbsp of baked sesame seeds
Group B
1- 1 tsp of black pepper flake
2- 1/2  tsp of salt

.: Sauce mixture :.

1- 1 cane of baked bean
2- 1/2 cup of hot water
3- 1/2  tsp of sugar 

.: Steps :.


1-  Marinade the salmon with Group B ingredient for 15 minutes.  Coat both side of the salmon with flour.  Heat the pan with 1 tbsp of oil over medium-high heat.  Pan-fry the fish until all sides are light brown.  Turn the heat to medium.  Continue pan-fry the fish until golden.  Dish it up and put it aside.


2-  Heat the non-sticky pan with 1/2 tbsp of oil over medium-high heat.  Add in the garlic and onion with 1/3 tsp of salt , and stir-fry until the onion is soft (about 2 minutes).  Add in the bell peppers, and stir-fry the ingredients until fragrant (about 1 minutes).

3-  Turn the heat to medium.  Add in the sauce mixture and bring it to boil. 


4-  Add in the salmon cubes and mix it well.  Dish it up.  Top it with sesame seeds and serve it in hot. 

.: Tips :.

1- Do not turn the fish before one side is brown.
2- Do not overcook the fish.  It is recommended to cook it to 90% done.
3- Add more water in the sauce mixture if you prefer to have more sauce.
